Planning







I must admit that I have always wanted to visit Turkey, and I am thrilled to be finally able to do so.

Planning for any trip is exciting but Turkey specially so, it's seeing places that I seem to be so familiar with in my mind. I am stepping into some fascinating history.

So far here is the tentative schedule:

Day 1: Arrival in Istanbul and fly to Izmir.


Day 2: A full day tour covering;
Ephesus ancient city,
Terrace houses,
The house of Mary,

Fly to Kayseri in the evening.


Day 3: A full day tour covering;
Devrent Valley,
Pasabag,
Çavusin village,
Avanos centre of terra cotta work of art and a demonstration in a traditional pottery workshop,


Day 4: September 6, 2014: A full day tour covering;
Göreme Open-air Museum ,
Esentepe (panoramic view),
Uçhisar (natural rock castle),


Day 5: September 7, 2014: A full day tour covering;
Ihlara valley,
Derinkuyu underground city,

Evening: Fly back to Istanbul.


Day 6: A full day tour covering;
The blue mosque,
Hagia sophia,
Roman hippodrome,
Basilica Cistern,


Day 7: A full day tour covering;
Ancient city walls,
7 Tower dungeons,
Suleimans mosque,
Topkapi palace,
Grand bazaar and Istanbul handicrafts center,


Day 8: Istanbul


Day 9: Istanbul


Day 10: Fly back home.


Have the all the air tickets, hotels, and some of the guided tours. I am so ready to go.
